Walters Fencing gave Australian Fencing Awards some key information on their Double top railed houseyard project.

Challenges involved in the project

• As usual, underground services in a new residential estate, however the main criteria the client asked for was the rabbit netting to be installed inside the fence not wrap around outside the corners, which necessitated coming up with a fancy straining technique using stainless steel rod and an extra loop around the strainer post. The house had been selected by the builder as their 'show property' so expectations were very high.

Products used on the project

• Waratah Longlife wire, Austube 'easyrail' small cattle rail, Walters Fencing wire spinners and customised driver trailer.

Outcome of the project

• A very happy customer who was happy for us to use the fence as our 'referral fence' for potential customers to come visit.
