Turners Pool Fence in Timber and Steel by PH Fencing
PH Fencing gives Australian Fencing Awards some key information on their Turners Pool Fence in Timber and Steel Project
Challenges involved in the project
- The biggest challenge was securing materials the client was wanting to achieve the look they were seeking under the budget they had to spend. Actual challenge on install was every line of the pool fence was a different slope and dodging power, water lines and trees. In addition prior to install new turf had been laid, but not on the whole site so we also needed to make allowances for future fill and turf to be added. Delivering the fence while maintaining legal requirements for pool fences required some redesign of the fence also in relation to existing trees in their back yard.
Products used on the project
- We sourced 100 x 100 Class One Ironbark Posts from Pilliga Natural Timbers and delivered to site. The posts were all champhered and tops trimmed. The client painted the in-ground sections with Timber Protecta before install to save on labour. Black 1200mm flat top panels in 2400 and 3000mm lenths were sourced from Central West Gates and Fencing, Dubbo. Posts were prepped with Cabots New timber Prep, cleaned and oiled prior to the panels being installed.
Outcome of the project
The customers were thrilled with their new fence and got to enjoy their new pool with the rural look they were wanting.
